BLAST FURNACE is an improvised comic wherein Ryan Browne (me) spends only one hour writing and drawing each page. No thinking ahead, no revisions later, a page a day, five days a week for one year! The art sucks but it’s fun as hell!

Blast Furnace is about a recreational thief named Ernest Furnace who steals just about anything in the name of fun and not for financial gain. BUT his story is constantly derailed by flashbacks, dream sequences, and side stories of owls on the run from the law, hideously deformed men who look just like a horse, lil' Draculas, and electricity shooting handlebar mustaches. It's totally bat $#!t crazy and a ton of nonsensical fun! 

If you liked God Hates Astornauts, yet wish it featured more light-hearted thievery, then you will LOVE Blast Furnace!
